The Taking Tree

Today I went to church only to discover that the Giving Tree I had made for our ward's Sub-for-Santa had been TAKEN!  It was covered in ornaments I had made by hand--ornaments with information about specific items for needy children and their families.  Geez, what kind of person takes something like that?  Unless they were feeling super generous and wanted to purchase all of the items on the tree or something.  Doubt it.  I looked in the kitchen, the bathrooms, library, gym, stage, classrooms, closets, and even our ward elevator!  Nothing.  'Tis a mystery.  Poor Giving Tree...  It was once a beacon of service and now... now it's been condemned to some cruel fate!
